I was scammed by Single Muslims marriage web in a large amount of money, a Syrian living in UN camp in Turkey. Such good deed to do, get married and help vulnerable person, that was the trick I got fooled into.
I reported to SM and to action fraud and even my local bank branch, none of them take any steps to get the money back, the scam profile was taking of the web, I found the scam profile taking a different name, I reported it, then I learned how to spot on such scams profiles I found few of them taking the same technique. I got disappointed and I went into severe depression and I did not log into the site since, lately I tried to log in but I couldn’t, I emailed the customer service and I was told the profile was suspended due to its containment of personal information which was a big fat lie, I requested proof or copy of such claim, and I got a different message containing the log in details which I tried to use and know it by heart, I asked about the scam report the answer was there were no report of... Salam alaykum wr wb.
The bad facts first, 'the site charges women $15 per month they get to send free messages.' Now, for men it's like this, 'the site charges men, $50.00 per month with no free messages." It get's worse! The "Single Muslim" team is creating profiles to message you and you cannot respond unless you "purchase" the paid membership. NOT FAIR IN BUSINESS

In summary, I would not recommend Single Muslim to a friend.

Fake site very rude staff money making scam tax vat invasion

this is a very bad site bogus profiles and accounts I paid three months upfront only got 1 month from them and they deleted my account I ask the for as refund but no joy I have reported ‎Adeem Younis (director) and others to the tax office for tax invasion and for vat fraud and false accounting to they claim to have 2.5million members at the rate £119 per year thats a lot money there accounts show that they only declare 5% of that to the vat and tax it seems to me that they are hiding the rest . I have also reported them to the trading standards they are making false profiles and using peoples details for bogus accounts . under the data protection laws and false advertising we all need to report them its our duty you find detail of there accounts and company reg number at the companies house online for free if we all do our bit we can get a voices heard and to stop these bad people from ripping us off and protect the public purse

I have to click on the star so I can write this comment, I wouldn't give it even half star it's a disgusting website most of the profiles are fake don't pay money to wast your time. oh, yeah ridiculous administration the worst I have ever dealt with

This website is a total scam the administrators are hypocrites they advertised a gift option which is paid for by male users to contact female users but when you mention this service that you have paid for in your profile the administrator is doing this to be inappropriate content and the female user is unaware that you have paid for an email to be sent to her why are you there to get off to you contact the administrators or the customer care that will simply say it is their policy this website is a scam they are fake Muslims probably not even Muslims behind the account most of the profiles msging men are fake you can see the profiles in their original state in other websites.

While they may be a great proportion of real people on the administration and the customer service and those who run the website are totally dishonest totally deceptive and using the name of ialam to make money to line their pockets

This is worst matrimonial site for the following reasons:

It has the most ugliest and absurd members who have been lying on this site for more than 5-8 years. Also many are married with kids so basically you will waste time and money by joining singlemuslim.

Singlemuslim administration is mentally retarded. They can suspend female accounts for any reason anytime since it was issued free. One female wanted a guy from a rich respectable family like herself and her account was shut with this explanation by singlemuslim:

"Your profile has been suspended because of the inappropriate content. The content you have added could cause offense to other members. The content of your profile is very materialistic and if you are seriously searching for those type of criteria, I would advise you to use a different website."

Which means singlemuslim has no members of good class forget elite. Most members cant speak english, high school drops out living in council houses and working lowest salary jobs. However they are allowed by singlemuslim to ask for a wife with money or "professional wife" whatever that means.

I tried Singlemuslim.com by registering as a woman as that is what I am and therefore entitled to the FREE account just to test it out. I set it up with basic information and no picture.

Within approval time of less than a day, I received over 30 messages from the men subscribing on the website. I read the message, whilst some were genuine, others were not so genuine. I replied back to some of them.

About a week later, I received an email stating that my account was suspended and to unsuspend it I would have to provide them with a passport, driving licence and proof of address.

Now does anyone who wants to stay anonymous and single want to provide such information as no other muslim matrimonial site asks for this information (I have tried Shaadi.com, Helahel.com, Freedating.co.uk, Bestmuslim.com, Zawaj.com, Nikah.com)

Then there is the issue of ID fraud/theft, Human Rights Act, Data Protection etc.

So if sisters are thinking of registering beware that this is a business and they need to make money so it will be FREE for a certain amount of time before your account is supended.

I'm afraid this site is not what it claims to be. It certainly isn't halal as there are many people on there not even of the muslim faith or claim to be muslim at at all. Also, when you complain about inappropriate behaviour they do not take this seriously and instead try to either get rid of you from the site or just simply ignore you. I've also heard claims of fake profiles and can't help but feel this is true with the experiences I've had. I've also heard of lots of other problems finiacially and otherwise from this site. It's run by a very immature group of people who claim to be halal and professional but certainly don't live up to it!

In summary, I would not recommend Single Muslim to a friend.

We Singed up about 2 months ago around early Dec 1st 2014 as a free member and we were bombarded with phony bogus replies to which case we were not able to read any of them as according to the site you have to be a paid member in order to read sent messages to you.(hence) this is very odd and or Bogus with in comparison to other dating sites to which case the candidate can not reply to a profile if they are not a paid member yet they should be no issues receiving messages.

Having said that after signing up for a full year membership, we responded to around 400 profiles to be exact. With in a few hours we received well over 20 replies and or responses in total to which case almost all mentioned the same sentence word for word to which case stated that they are sorry as they are currently talking to someone else. Within the context of logic and common sense how can 20 different people actually respond back to you the exact same way with the same sentence word for word unless some one who has created phony profiles is copying and pasting... This site is a scam. The administrators of this site have put in fake female profiles and send messages themselves to males just to make money. Do not respond to these messages / replies.

Where or how could this site be reported for fraud?
