Although among the more expensive services in this category, you will be pleased with how well-designed the site is, and their high levels of professionalism. Muslim and Single claim to understand the importance of relationships & marriage within the Muslim culture and cater accordingly to this niche of the UK Muslim dating market.

Sign up takes a matter of minutes and simply involves filling in your details. You are encouraged to upload a photo and are even given some great tips for taking a photo which will attract maximum attention to your profile. It seems that Muslim and Single succeed in encouraging their users to upload photos and spend some time on their profiles as almost all profiles come with a photo and the personal details of each user. This makes browsing and contacting Muslim singles a far more interesting experience.

For those not comfortable uploading a photo, you are encouraged to describe your appearance which can be a nice opportunity to practise the Islamic tradition of using words to convey beauty. If you come across someone whose profile interests you, you'll probably want to get in touch and to do so, you'll have to sign up to a paid membership plan.

There are no "gold, platinum, or diamond" options,( which we actually appreciated) - just one plan that varies in price according to how long you commit yourself for. While 3 months does work out to be a bit pricey we think the 1 year membership, at less than £4 a month, is a great deal. Also, we really appreciate the honest and open payment process at Muslim and Single which involves just a single one-off payment; a refreshing change to many other services in this category. 

Whilst Muslim and Single is not a cheap service, this is primarily due to them being focused solely on the UK Muslim dating scene, and hence prices are in line with what UK daters are willing to pay and billed in pounds sterling. UK Muslim singles will appreciate this as it means you will be part of a singles community of like-minded Muslims in close proximity to you. However, Muslim singles in other countries should look elsewhere for a cheaper service more suitable to their expectations.

We especially liked the Muslim and Single meet ups that are held every month as these present a great opportunity to meet other Muslim Singles in your area face to face. However, it must be noted that these generally take place in cities with a large Muslim population such as Birmingham or London which will probably be too far to go for some users.

While Muslim and Single claims to be 100% Halaal and "trusted by British Muslims" we couldn't work out what they base this on. While we didn't find anything amiss, being a strictly British Muslim dating site we did find most users to be more on the liberal side when it comes to practising their religion.

Overall, we would recommend Muslim and Single to any British Muslim singles as one of the best options out there; it's simple, serious, and won't break the bank. Muslims from other parts of the world should check out a more international Muslim dating service from among those in our Top10.
