As a female looking to find marriage i have been through here and there.

when i came to the site first thing i check is its terms and conditions..NOT THERE or WORKING....

then i check to see if i could contact them...INFORMATION NOT THERE NOT WORKING

NEED I SAY MORE ABOUT SIGNING UP AND THIS GOT A HIGH RATING THIS YEAR...2013..?? really...??!!!

the editor of this site is probably a fake that gets ppl to visit site and controls traffic online here..... because this site should be one of the last on the list...

i will take my chances in the real world..

I made a big mistake to put my money in this site,single Muslim is a big scam I repeat this site is a big scam . They took your money without let you know so do not made a mistake which I did. Their customer service is really bad they don't have any respect to customer.they make fake profile and send you message and when you reply they just lost.so be careful .

In summary, I would not recommend Single Muslim to a friend.

Single.com keeps on sending automatic messages(pretending those are sent from females) to the male users who havent paid the money yet. The moment you pay, those girls disappear or those fake profiles are self created by singlemuslim.com. When a male member is trapped into the scam and even when fortunately the term ends, singlemuslim.com automatically starts to charge per month fees to the clients without their approval. Many users later found out that there bank accounts were downgraded later.

In summary, I would not recommend Single Muslim to a friend.

The same thing happened to me as happened to an earlier reviewer. I took out a 3 month subscription and when that ended I automatically went on to a monthly rate of £13. At the time, their subscriptions were approx. something like: 1 month = £20 and £20 thereafter. 3 months = £40 and £13 a month thereafter. 6 months = £60 and £10 a month thereafter and so on.

After about 3 months on this rate my account was suddenly downgraded. At the same time I received an email from PayPal saying payment collections had been cancelled BY SINGLE MUSLIM. When I contacted SM, they claimed my account was downgraded due to non-payment. They said they'd tried to collect through PayPal twice but were unsuccessful. They even gave me dates which they claimed were the dates they'd tried to collect payment. These dates were AFTER the date PayPal had emailed to say payments had already been cancelled by SM.

Eventually after several emails to them, including showing them the email from PayPal proving the error was theirs and not mine, they agreed to upgrade my account back to gold membership but only on their new HIGHER rate! Even though... (Read the full review)

I have been a gold member of Singlemuslim,com for one year. The next day of my one year membership I received an email stating that my membership was cancelled for non-payment. When I contacted them and told them that I had sufficient funds available in my bank account and at this point they told me that their bank had the debit card number that I gave them one year ago and since I changed the card, therefore, they could not take the payment.

For the first time I heard that they are adopting uncustomary way of collection monthly payments after one year's subscription is over. Now they have asked me to buy another year's membership or pay at high monthly rate i.e. £30 a month.

This website is absolutely disgusting and waste of money and time. I advise all the brothers and sisters to stay away from these cheaters.

One more thing which I think to share with you that I created two different profiles at this website as a premier member and as soon as I finished posting the file, I received messages from fake IDs which needed payment to read and when I paid for one ID and replied the message... I experienced the exact same issue with single Muslim. I reported a man who was persistently messaging me and when rejected the messages turned filthy and vulgar yet when I reported it instead a couple of days later I received an email stating my profile had been removed....when I emailed to find out I was advised my profile picture was inappropriate as it showed part of my arm and therefore I give the wrong image which disgusted me as my was only partially on show. Yet the man who sent me filthy messages was still on there and not removed....and that was okay. I am truly disgusted at how this site is run by admin and world never recommend to another woman as you will be penalised when you receive abuse from someone you reject which you then report. I took it upon myself to find pictures of other women who had more than a tiny bit of arm showing in their display picture and made a point of reporting all to see what they would do and was told they would take appropriate action but surprisingly they didn't. Being a lady member for almost a year, i have found poor customer service a big issue, when i reported a 60 years old transport professional who kept sending me messages, nothing was done to prevent this or help me out, i reported him ,i blocked him but he still kept sending me messages. finally i deleted my account and created another one, he again started the same thing and blocking/reporting him didnt work at all again.
apart from this i have heard and read in many places that singlemuslim suspended accounts when ever they wished with no logical reason or warning.
Just a few hours after i reported and sent a complain against the same 60 years old man, my account was suspended for no logical reason and with out a warning too!.. on asking a guy from SM wrote back after days saying, i was "persistently uploading an unsuitable primary image" (but the same profile picture i am using on shaadi.com and qira.com it is a clear and decent pic) but He said "picture should be similar to a passport picture" and with no warning vola He suspended my account! is this really a good enough reason to not warn... I joined after hearing so much about - and attending so many SingleMuslim.com Weddings.

As a female member the site was completely free for me!

My husband and I are now expecting our first child, all thanks to SingleMuslim.com!

The site in no way is supportive of fraud prevention. The administrators become simply ban anyone that reports fake profiles. They do not monitor their clients for romance scams. They do not take action when a profile is documented and proven to be fraudulent or a known scammer.
